Tammi joined the Chamber staff in November 2019. She is involved with all aspects of The Region 3 Workforce Development Council/West Alabama Works and assists with workforce training efforts throughout the nine-county region. As the coordinator for the Black Belt Workforce Center, she coordinates job/education opportunities for residents throughout the Black Belt Counties and at the center in Demopolis.

Tammi received a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia College in Selma and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University in 2008. Before joining the Chamber, Tammi began her professional career as a print and digital advertising specialist with The Tuscaloosa News and later with Boone Newspaper Group as a digital advertising coordinator for the Gulf Coast Division. While sales is a passion of hers, Tammi has several years of experience with office management and customer service.

Tammi spends most of her free time serving as the secretary of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department and recording secretary for her church, Springfield United Methodist Church.
