LoWanda has been a member of the Chamber staff since June 2003. She is responsible for overseeing the front desk and greeting Chamber visitors, as well as the dissemination of general community and membership information. LoWanda is the Staff Liaison for the Ambassador program and helps coordinate the Chamber's Business After Hours and Breakfast & Biz events and assists with ribbon cuttings and ground breakings. She also manages the online calendar of events and schedules the use of Chamber meeting spaces.

LoWanda has served on the Board of Directors of Temporary Emergency Services. She is a member of the Leadership Tuscaloosa Alumni Association and Junior League of Tuscaloosa.

LoWanda previously worked for the Franklin County Convention Facility Authority in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio and is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa.
